Julie chamness gray
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Julie Chamness Gray was born and raised in Las Cruces. As a Mayfield graduate, she attended New Mexico State University where she obtained a degree in Animal Science. After graduating with her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University, Dr. Gray practiced in northern New Mexico and Southlake, Texas, in mixed animal practices for four years. She established Arroyo Veterinary Clinic in November of 1989.
During her off time, Dr. Gray enjoys family life and exhibiting her horses.
Melissa Jones
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Melissa Jones graduated from Cloudcroft High School in 1995 as valedictorian. She continued her education at New Mexico State University where she graduated as a Crimson Scholar with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Microbiology. Her dreams came true when she graduated with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2005.
Upon completion of her DVM, Dr. Jones returned home to practice in Alamogordo for 5 years. She moved to Texas for just over a year, where she practiced in Corpus Christi. Returning home, she found the perfect fit with the staff at Arroyo Veterinary Clinic. Along with general practice, Dr. Jones is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. Through physical rehabilitation, Dr. Jones tries to increase function and decrease pain in all her patients.
Dr. Jones shares her life with her husband Robert, her two children Alex and Kelly, three dogs: Rigby, Shylah and Calliope, and four cats: Baghrea, Emma Rose, Mushu, and Abu
Kaitlyn Gray
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Kaitlyn Gray was born in Las Cruces, NM. She is a New Mexico State University alumni, with a bachelor of science degree in Animal Science. Kaitlyn pursued her veterinary studies at Washington State University, before returning to her home to take care of the community that she loves. Kaitlyn’s special interest is avian and exotic medicine, however, cats and dogs also top her list. She is excited to be a part of Arroyo Veterinary Clinic and the quality care that they give to each and every patient.
